Are all-white kitchens really OUT?

The client wanted to divide her apartment into two, with one unit designated as an Airbnb, so a brand-new kitchen was essential. The old office presented the ideal space for this transformation. Our goal was to create something elegant and universally appealing, while also being mindful of budget constraints—perfect for an Airbnb. Given the high turnover of guests, we opted for a durable stone countertop and backsplash that could handle wear and tear.

The moment we stepped into the former office, we knew the breathtaking view of the Seine would become the focal point. Overlooking the Seine and hints of the buildings of the Louvre museum), this view truly steals the show. To ensure nothing competed with it, we took a bold approach: an all-white kitchen with reflective surfaces. Despite it being considered "out of trend" and a risk, we embraced it. The clean white palette and polished chrome finishes, combined with the warm original parquet we uncovered, brought balance.

The kitchen became a canvas for the ever-changing light—from the soft purples and oranges at sunset to light blues during the day, and even the moody greys on rainy days. At night, city lights dance across the reflective surfaces. We’re confident Airbnb guests will love this magical space. After all, they chose this apartment for the location and view, so we let that be the hero.
